REMEMBERING PROFESSOR REX NETTLEFORD
The Little Theatre Movement celebrates the life of Prof Rex Nettleford even as we mourn his passing. His association with the LTM begin when he choreographed 1959's Pantomime Jamaica Way with Eddy Thomas. He directed three National Pantomimes – 1960 “Carib Gold”, for which Louise Bennett was co-director. In 1971, he directed “Banana Boy” and in 1965 “Morgan’s Dream of Old Port Royal".

He also created movement for songs and choreography for more than 25 productions the last being "Pirate Jack" currently on stage at the Little Theatre,

The Little Theatre Movement (LTM) has the distinction of being Jamaica’s longest surviving theatre company of contemporary times. From it’s inception, the LTM committed itself to a vigorous policy of serving the wider community.
