"May its doors
be ever open to all talent,
its building a symbol of faith
in the community,
a centre for all creative artists,
and its productions
a constant source of enjoyment and hope for all people."

Greta and Henry Fowler

The Little Theatre was built on lands purchased from the Government of Jamaica with funds raised by the annual Pantomimes, assisted by funds raised from the public over the years. In September of 1961, the theatre opened its doors and has remained open since. Over the years, various adjustments have been made to the structure bringing it into the twenty first century.

The theatre seats 600 and its facilities include Front of House Staff, Box Office, Security, Fly Tower, Parking, Bar/Canteen, Construction Shed, Lighting & Sound Equipment

Also on the grounds is the Little-Little Theatre, a studio-style facility which seats 150.

The Little Theatre Complex facilitates a wide range of cultural activity throughout the year, from school groups to amateur and professional performing ensembles. It is the home of the National Dance Theatre Company and the Pantomime Company.
