JACK AND THE MACCA TREE

The Story

Jack and the Macca Tree Finale
Life in the Village would be perfect if the Giant’s shadow did not hang over it. He interferes with the water supply, he causes bad times or so the people believe. The Giant’s wife appears as if out of nowhere accompanied by her maid Mary Croomoochin where they credit goods from the market vendors and never pay.

Jack, Miss Daisy’s son, encourages the villagers to be productive but they find it hard to hear that message, they’re more interested in the visit of Jack’s friend Angelina who arrives to study the life of villagers. Meanwhile, Miss Daisy works hard to protect Man Cow, her prized livestock, much sought after by the Giant who craves meat. His quest for meat also endangers Pig, Goat and Donkey who are devoted “party animals”.

Their thirst for entertainment leads them into the trap set by Charlie Croomoochin, the Giant’s sneaky assistant. Caught leading away the animals he attempts to pay with a bag containing macca seeds instead of money. The seeds grow into a Macca Tree which Jack, Miss Daisy and Angelina climb in search of the animals. They enter the Giant’s domain, the home of the Croomoochins. The animals soon find out that they have been tricked, instead of an entertainment deal they’re scheduled to be the Giant’s meal. Miss Daisy has to call upon her ally, Spirit Wiss who manages to untie the captured animals. The Giant loses his dinner, the animals are saved. Jack, Miss Daisy and Angelina get safely home.
